Ensure menu items are made per authentic Indian recipes
Discuss with the Director, Restaurant Manager and all staff regarding Events and
Functions to keep the kitchen Prepared.
Organizes prepares and cooks food.
Prepare different specialty items including south Indian Chettinadu dishe, Indo Chinese, Indian dishes and tandoori breads.
Discuss with the Director, Restaurant Manager and all staff regarding Events and catering orders.
Select, prepare and cook for different menu items
Produces Indian style snacks such as samosas, chat, and puris
Prepare sauces, accompaniments, and soups
Prepares and produces Indian desserts
Presents and portions food on plates and adds sauces and garnishes.
Freeze and preserve foods
Selects and trains staff and demonstrates required cooking techniques to cooks and
kitchen hands and mentors them on cooking procedures.
Enforcing workplace hygiene procedures and regulations
Certificate IV In Cookery or above is suitable
More than 4 years of relevant work experience required for this role
