Kokoro Tokyo Mazesoba Sydney is seeking a skilled and motivated Cook to join our dynamic kitchen team. Specialising in authentic Japanese mazesoba (broth-less ramen), we are looking for someone passionate about quality ingredients, consistency, and refined presentation.
Opportunity to work with authentic Japanese noodle cuisine and premium ingredients
Hands-on experience with mazesoba preparation and traditional Japanese techniques
Collaborative kitchen environment with training opportunities
Central Sydney location in a popular dining precinct
Inspect ingredients to ensure freshness and consistent quality
Monitor and adjust heat levels on stoves, grills and other kitchen equipment
Store ingredients and prepared food in appropriate temperature-controlled areas
Prepare dishes according to Kokoro’s recipes and presentation standards
Plate and serve food in correct portions with suitable garnishes
Cater to specific dietary requirements where necessary
Assist with menu planning and ingredient quantity estimations
Add seasonings and spices during cooking to enhance flavour
Support the training and mentorship of junior kitchen staff
Minimum of 1 year working as a Cook or in a similar culinary role with formal Qualification,
