Task & responsibilities

• Take responsibility for your section, ensuring high standards of preparation, cooking, and presentation.
• Work closely with the Sous Chef and Head Chef to maintain consistency and quality across all dishes.
• Assist with training and guiding junior kitchen staff.
• Maintain clean, organized, and safe work environment in line with food safety standards.
• Support smooth kitchen operations during service periods.

You will be required to have:

• Excellent attention to detail and a high standard of food presentation.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team. 
• A calm, reliable, and organized approach in a fast-paced environment.
• Passion for delivering memorable dining experiences.
• A natural ability to build authentic connections with colleagues and contribute to a positive kitchen culture.
• Flexibility to work a rotating roster, including early morning, evenings, weekends, and public holidays.

Qualification & experience

• Experience as a Chef / Cook, or confident and ready to take the next step.
• Certificate III in Commercial Cookery (or equivalent).
• A current Food Safety / Food Handling certificate (or ability to obtain).
