IKONIC HOLDINGS PTY LTD is seeking a Marketing Specialist to join our team. The will be responsible for developing and implementing marketing strategies to promote our products and services. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in marketing and a passion for driving business growth. Task & responsibilities

  • Commissions and undertakes market research within the accommodation sector to identify opportunities for new and existing motel services, such as room upgrades, package deals, and local partnerships.
  • Collects and analyses data to evaluate potential demand, occupancy rates, guest demographics, and travel patterns, ensuring services align with regional market characteristics.
  • Supports business growth and development through the preparation and execution of marketing objectives, seasonal promotions, and guest retention programs tailored to motel operations.
  • Advises on all elements of motel marketing, including room pricing strategies, discount offers, local advertising, and distribution channels such as online travel agencies (OTAs), direct bookings, and regional tourism bodies.
  • Develops strategies to enhance the motel’s visibility and brand identity, ensuring a consistent guest experience both online and onsite.
  • Plans, develops, and organises advertising policies and campaigns to drive bookings during peak and off-peak periods, including promotions for long-stay guests, business travellers, and family holidaymakers.
  • Advises management on advertising strategies to reach target markets, promote motel features, and highlight unique selling points such as location, affordability, and convenience.
  • Coordinates the production of advertising campaigns involving digital marketing, social media content, local print advertising, signage, and collaborations with regional tourism operators, within time and budget constraints.
  • Analyses data regarding guest booking patterns, repeat visitor behaviour, and traveller preferences to identify areas for improvement.
  • Interprets and predicts current and future accommodation and travel trends, such as the rise of road trips, budget travel, and domestic tourism.
  • Conducts ongoing research into market demand and traveller characteristics, collecting and analysing data on local events, tourist attractions, and regional economic factors that influence bookings.
  • Drives motel business growth and development by preparing and executing marketing initiatives that strengthen guest loyalty, increase occupancy rates, and maximise revenue through ancillary services such as breakfast packages, parking, and local experiences. 


Qualification & experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Business related field or marketing
  • Proven experience in marketing, with a focus on digital marketing
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
