Task & responsibilities

Task & Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook high-quality meals following set recipes and standards
• Coordinate food preparation and kitchen operations
• Monitor food safety and hygiene practices
• Assist in menu planning, costing, and specials development
• Maintain kitchen inventory and ensure proper stock rotation
• Train and supervise junior kitchen staff
• Collaborate with front-of-house to ensure smooth service flow
• Maintain a clean, organised, and efficient kitchen environment

Qualification & experience

Qualification & Experience

• At least one year of experience working as a Chef 
• Certificate III in Commercial Cookery or equivalent (highly regarded)
• Strong knowledge of food safety and workplace health standards
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Flexibility to work weekends, evenings, and public holidays as required
