The Position:

We are seeking a qualified and experienced Baker to join our team at our Margate bakery in Brisbane. This is a full-time position.

Salary:

Annual salary range of $75,000 – $77,000 plus superannuation, commensurate with skills and experience.

Key Responsibilities:

Preparing and baking a variety of bread products, including artisan breads, rolls, and specialty items
Mixing, moulding, proofing, and baking dough in accordance with Bakers Delight recipes and standards
Monitoring oven temperatures and baking times to ensure product consistency and quality
Ensuring compliance with food safety, hygiene, and WHS standards
Maintaining cleanliness of equipment and workstations
Assisting with stock control and ingredient preparation
Working efficiently in a fast-paced team environment to meet production targets

Skills & Experience Required:

Relevant qualification in baking or commercial cookery (minimum Certificate III or equivalent) OR sufficient experience to substitute formal qualification.
1 – 2 years of full-time relevant baking experience
Demonstrated knowledge of dough preparation, fermentation, and baking techniques
Ability to work early morning shifts, weekends, and public holidays as required
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
