Marketing specialist

This is a unique role for a Marketing Specialist who thinks outside the box in further developing and implementing a marketing strategy for a travel company primarily focused on the sales of packages of tours and tourism related activities.

Task & responsibilities

Drive business growth through the formulation and execution of strategic marketing objectives and policies

Develop targeted marketing strategies, increasing brand awareness and effective promotion both in Australia and overseas with the aim of increasing client base for packages and services

Develop and manage marketing materials including digital platforms, social media platforms and hard copy materials accordance with budgets and brand image

Support customer engagement through marketing communication and CRM tools

Analyse marketing information systems to generate insights about the target market and explore strategic marketing opportunities to generate further business opportunities

Conduct research on additional package/service offerings aligning with the business 

Qualification & experience

Bachelors degree and or five years experience

Experience in a marketing role, ideally in the tourism industry

Demonstrated experience of effective use of social media marketing
