Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare, cook, and present menu items according to restaurant standards. 
  • Ensure consistent quality and portion control in all dishes. 
  • Monitor food preparation and cooking techniques to ensure quality and hygiene standards. 
  • Maintain cleanliness and organisation of kitchen and work areas. 
  • Check freshness of food and ingredients. 
  • Ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation regulations. 
  • Assist with stock ordering, storage, and inventory control.

Skills and Experience

  • Minimum of Certificate III in Cookery or equivalent overseas qualification with at least 3 years of relevant work experience.
  • Strong knowledge of Udupi cooking techniques & traditional ingredients.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Strong knowledge of kitchen operations and food safety standards.
